The Boys: 10 Spin-Offs We Want To See
5. The Rise Of Stan Edgar
As soon as Stan Edgar stepped onto the screen and the face of the legendary Giancarlo Esposito was in the driving seat, you knew he would be someone who tore this world up. But, the character ended up being so much more than just the actor playing him, as Mr Edgar was formidable, terrifying, powerful and altogether fun to watch.
Ultimately, however, his final send-off in season three was anticlimactic. It's more than likely that he will rear his head again in the series, but in case that doesn't happen, perhaps going back and taking a look at his rise through the ranks would be a clever move.
Stan Edgar's past was left very ambiguous in the show, so there's plenty of scope to explore it. Fans know that he had a hand in the deposition of Solider Boy thanks to the flashbacks to Nicaragua, which implies that he's always had a hands-on approach to Supe management. Watching as he climbs the corporate ladder and puts heroes in their place would be a thrilling experience.
They even have a young actor geared up to play him, as Justiin Davis stepped in and had some visible fun with the role.
