The Boys: 10 Spin-Offs We Want To See
4. Teenage Kix
The Boys makes it clear that having a superpower when you're emotionally vulnerable can lead to blood, guts and hurt feelings all over the place. So, imagine a TV show where a bunch of teens developed their powers together, all while hitting the most hormonal, unstable, transitional period of their lives. It would be a wild ride; that much is for sure.
Teenage Kix was a group of (obviously) teenage superheroes who tried to make a name for themselves as a supergroup. In the comics, they are still together in their team during the main narrative, but in the show, it's clear that they've disbanded. This seems like a golden opportunity, as going back and exploring them in their early years would lead to a slew of hilarity, vulgarity and shock factor.
This could also bring in some tremendous comic-book characters that haven't been seen yet, like Big Game, Blarney Cock, Dogknott and more. Additionally, it would be fun to see younger versions of A-Train and Popclaw. The show could explore their budding romance, all with the dramatic irony of knowing what happens to them - how tragic indeed.
