The Boys: 8 Worst Things The Seven Have Done
6. Homelander Created The Super Terrorist
With their net income up 14%, their latest film, G-Men: World War, grossing just short of $1.7 billion, and a new theme park in the works, Vought International had almost everything it could ever want. Almost. The next big thing Stillwell pushed for was for her superheroes to be integrated into the U.S armed forces.
The majority of Madelyn’s campaigning was met with reluctance and outright rejection from the people who mattered, answering her pleas with questions over the heroes’ loyalties and if they would really be necessary.
The leader of the Seven wanted the green light to enter the forces as much as Stillwell, if not more, and after embracing the thought that he is the Homelander and can do whatever the f*ck he wants, he took matters into his own hands.
What was needed to get the super heroes into the military was a threat that only they could fight... a super terrorist. Homelander, with the help of A-Train and his Compound V, "supercharged some jihadis", engineering a genuine Seven-level threat, giving the U.S government no choice but to allow Homelander and co. into the fight.
For someone who is supposed to save lives and protect innocent people, Homelander really put so many of these people at risk just to further his own career, proving just how little value he put on human life.
