The Boys: Every Episode Ranked Worst To Best
5. You Found Me (Season 1, Episode 8)
The strongest episode of season one, You Found Me is a perfect finale, tying up loose ends whilst creating some maddening plot twists. Hughie races to save Frenchie and MM from Vought, whilst Butcher heads out to confront Madelyn Stillwell, and Starlight grapples with her need to be a hero and her pain over Hughie's recent betrayal.
As Butcher pushes Hughie away and heads out to take on Homelander, A-Train, high as a kite on Compound V, fights with Starlight when she races to save Hughie and the others. Homelander, meanwhile, slips further into depravity when he kills Stillwell for lying to him.
You Found Me, directed by Eric Kripke, is a culmination of all the previous episodes had been building to, with The Boys becoming more fractured than ever, Butcher becoming consumed by his need for revenge, and Annie facing off with her identity crisis. Plus, it ends on the best cliffhanger of the show, as Homelander reveals to Butcher that Becca is still alive. Ouch.
