The Boys: Ranking All Members Of The Seven’s Powers

Lamplighter is the most recently seen member of The Seven in The Boys, but in terms of the actual chronology of the show he's one of the oldest members we've been made aware of.

And as such, not much of Lamplighter's abilities have really been evidenced. It is known though that Lamplighter is capable of controlling fire. Notice the use of the word "controlling" there, not "creating".

Fire is obviously a very useful weapon, it's one of nature's oldest tools of destruction. Lamplighter could easily wipe out whole crowds with a wave of his hand, and he could even burn down whole towns. Though take away that lighter of his, and he may struggle.

This destructive capability is all well and good, but if he doesn't have access to fire that already exists, then Lamplighter is pretty much mortal.

Undoubtedly, in terms of normal human beings, Lamplighter is a cut above, fire control is a great ability for the aforementioned reasons, but against a member of the Seven, or even a reasonably smart normal human being, he could quite easily be defeated.
