6. Who Is Soldier Boy?
Speaking of Soldier Boy, we know that the character will be introduced in season three, and we know he will be portrayed by Supernatural's Jensen Ackles, but that's about as much as we know so far.
In the comics, Soldier Boy was the leader of Payback, yet another supe squad, and though he constantly tried to earn promotion to the Seven by impressing Homelander in between the sheets, he kept getting rejected. However, we can't rely on the comic version of the character too much, as it is already confirmed that he will be very different in the show.
The sole mention Soldier Boy has in the first two seasons of the show is part of Stan Edgar's speech to Homelander, in which he is revealed to be one of the first heroes tested with Compound V, and fought during World War II, suggesting he was Vought's answer to Homelander before the current leader of the Seven was even born.
Clearly much different to the character to the comics, Soldier Boy has been teased to be even worse than Homelander in the series, though it remains to be seen if he will reach Stormfront levels of evil.
