The Boys Season 3: 10 Reasons To Be Excited
7. Victoria Neuman's Plan
So, it turns out Victoria "Vic" Neuman isn't so virtuous and innocent after all, with the final twist (and answer to the season-long question) revealing that the millennial politician had been blowing up heads left and right for her own personal agenda.
Just when we thought we had her character archetype pinned down, the rug is pulled from right under our feet and the third season antagonist finds herself being set up.
What's exciting about her plan is that it doesn't appear to have been laid out yet, but the fact that she was in league with the Church of the Collective, and openly campaigned against Vought whilst disrupting the federal trial to bring them down, seems to spell out plans of usurping Vought and controlling Supes in a similar fashion.
If you're a reader of the comics, you'll know what character she is an interpretation of, and the fact that the show is going in such a different direction once again puts even the avid comic readers in the dark with the series watchers.
With her setting up a CIA backed team to keep tabs on Supes, her access to Church of Collective blackmail knowledge, and her persona as the people's champion, Vic might be on her way to being an even bigger menace than Stormfront - but maybe not as historically horrible?
