The Boys Season 3: Every Character Ranked Worst To Best
9. A-Train
Out of everyone in the main cast, A-Train has always felt the most out-of-the-loop, constantly engaging in his own personal misadventures just outside the main story, and season three continues this with his most personal and eye-opening conflict to date.
Forced to rehabilitate his image after finally being let back into the fabled Seven, the speedy supe has to contend with a literal broken heart, and the ensuing identity crisis, which makes him want to get in touch with ancestral roots whilst confronting a racist supe who's over-policing Black neighbourhoods.
At the end of his rope and desperate for change, A-Train spends the season pushing everyone away -- often unintentionally -- and slowly realising he's been a terrible person. It also brings him into conflict with Homelander, who he's both terrified of and unwilling to betray out of fear.
A-Train is far past redemption, but season three hinted at an opportunity for genuine change. Whether it's a good one or a bad is up for debate.
