The Dark Knight Rises and Inception actor Tom Hardy walked out early on Jonathan Ross during an interview for his chatshow, the host has admitted. In an episode that will air next Saturday, guest Hardy was reportedly unhappy with footage Ross showed of him winning a modelling contest on Channel 4's The Big Breakfast, back in 1998. "Tom really wasn't happy about the footage being shown and said he looked like a total idiot. After that moment, the interview was a squirm-fest. When he walked off, Jonathan turned to the audience and said, 'He is genuinely p*ssed off with me'," a source of The Sun newspaper claimed last week. On hearing about the rumours, Jonathan Ross has responded and claimed that Hardy walking off was a practical joke from Hardy to make the host look bad. If that is true, it definitely looks like it worked! "Oh btw. There is story online that Tom Hardy threw a wobbly on the show we recorded this week... not true. I showed old clip of him and he acted p*ssed off to turn the tables on me," Ross said. "He is good actor so very convincing. So score is Hardy 1, Ross 0, Internet news story complete fail. Show goes out next Saturday so you can see for yourselves. He got me good!" Hardy appears on the Jonathan Ross Show to promote his new action/romance comedy This Means War that opens on Valentine's Day in the UK and US. No doubt a few questions about The Dark Knight Rises also come up! Also on Saturday's new episode will be Keira Knightley and Denzel Washington in a film star heavy show.
