7. Elektra's Death - Daredevil S2

It might not have lasted, but Elektra's "death" became inevitable in the second season of Daredevil as soon as she tried to get Matt to kill other people.

Naturally, the show decided to channel one of the most iconic moments in her comic book history, paying homage to her death at the hands of Bullseye in the comics. Obviously Nobu is there in place of Bullseye, but the way he stabbed her was very much a redo of the infamous panel...

Her revival was also directly taken from the comics (where she was brought back against Frank Miller's wishes), where the Hand tried to bring her back only for Matt and Stone to have to complete it.
