The Defenders: 8 Major New Reveals From Marvel And Netflix

1. The Devil Of Hell's Kitchen Is A Rumour No More

When the first season of Daredevil wrapped up, the press were just beginning to acknowledge the presence of the Man Without Fear in Hell's Kitchen. However, based on comments from those involved with the show, it sounds like he'll very much be on the path to being a publicly recognised superhero in the second batch of episodes, and that's something which looks set to challenge Matt Murdock in a very different way. "With Wilson Fisk in jail, the crime rate has plummeted. Things have returned to normal, if not better than normal," star Charlie Cox revealed to reporters. Having exorcised his demons and put "to bed arguments as to who he is and what he is, is presented with someone who forces him to question everything he is. There's no way he can agree to the methods with which Frank Castle employs his vigilante justice." That clash with the vigilante is something else which will be a driving force in season two, but it's his status as a "recognisable symbol" which looks set to really shake things up for the character later this year.
