And finally, it's become apparent from what numerous critics have written about the first four episodes that there's a major plot twist that brings The Defenders together, and it's incredibly easy to figure it out if you read between the lines of what several reviewers are saying.

No spoilers here, but it's sure to anger a lot of fans as it seems to take a rather lazy approach to building the superhero team, by basically doing the most generic and formulaic thing possible.

It remains to be seen exactly how it all transpires, sure, but expect a firm fan backlash for it regardless.
