19. Danny Takes On Luke

Danny finds a corpse inside the dojo and subsequently chases the gas mask-wearing assailant outside, pinning him against a wall as he calls for help.

Luke Cage then interrupts the scuffle, and it's worth noting that the killer is a black man, so it looks like there's going to be some sort of gag about Cage presuming Danny to be a thug wanting to kill an innocent black dude.

Luke stops Danny's fist, at which point Danny angrily turns to ask him, "Who are you?", and Luke, seeming semi-insulted by the question, fires it straight back at him.

Danny then tries out some of his fancy martial arts on Luke, but his attack does nothing, and Luke hilariously levels him with one steely hit. For everyone who hated Iron Fist out there, this is going to be perversely glorious viewing.

18. Iron Fist Strikes Back

In case you were worried that The Defenders might just be eight episodes of everyone dumping on Danny Rand, he certainly gets a chance to hold his own against Luke Cage, firing up his Iron Fist and clocking him in the face with it, resulting in an hilarious slow-motion glimpse at Cage's face absorbing the impact.

There's little indication of how the fight is resolved, but it sure looks like fun all the same.
