21. Claire Is Back (Again)

Claire Temple is essentially The Defenders' connective tissue, having shown up in each of their individual TV shows, and appearing in some capacity in this cross-over event itself.

Claire is spotted sharing a bed with Luke Cage briefly in the trailer, asking him, "How does being Harlem's hero allow you to live an actual life?" He replies, "Right now, I just wanna help people."

This makes it pretty damn clear that Luke and Jessica probably won't be hooking up again this season, but honestly, the less time devoted to romance in general, the better.

20. Danny & Colleen

And here's by far the most controversial player in the titular quartet: Finn Jones' Iron Fist, who hasn't exactly been off to a strong start with his critically-reviled recent stint on Netflix.

At least Danny Rand has brought Iron Fist's easily highlight, Jessica Henwick's terrific Colleen Wing, to his new show, and the pair are briefly seen entering her dojo.

Colleen probably won't have a huge part in the season, but considering the possibility that The Hand will be involved in whatever trouble brings these heroes together, it makes sense that she'd be in the frame somewhere.
