12. Clarissa Mao
The daughter of Jules-Pierre Mao and the sister of Julie, Clarissa initially debuted on the series with the intention of getting revenge on Jim Holden for putting her father behind bars.
A clearly moralistic character from the start, Clarissa felt great shame and guilt with every violent and murderous act she committed with the sole focus of getting to Holden. Jules-Pierre clearly favoured Julie over Clarissa and that has resulted in Clarissa feeling the need to prove herself to her father which makes for a tragic character.
After her arrest and imprisonment on Earth, Clarissa becomes close to Amos after he sees a lot of himself in her. The two of them bond and bring the best out of each other after they must fight for survival in the wake of Marco Inaros' asteroid attacks. It is now looking likely that Clarissa will be a mainstay on the Rocinante for the final season and it will be curious to see if she can reach the heights of the rest of the crew.
