11. Marco Inaros
The leader of the Free Navy and the man responsible for killing millions of lives on Earth, Marco Inaros is the primary antagonist of the Expanse's fifth season and will likely be the same for the final season as well. Father of Naomi Nagata's son Filip, Marco has a strong emotional connection to the crew of the Roci that other villains have previously lacked.
Marco is a man with a vision of a free and independent Belt and does not care how many lives he needs to kill to achieve that goal. Instead of having multiple characters talk about how deadly Marco can be, we are shown as he is personally responsible for the deaths of fan favourites Klaes Ashford and Fred Johnson as well as successfully attacking Earth with not one, but three large asteroids.
Marco's military strength is yet to be shaken as Season Five ended with the Free Navy destroying several U.N. defensive ships protecting the ring gate. Marco's radical ideals that he has used to indoctrinate his followers (including his own son) make him a formidable threat and one that will be a large focus of the final season.
