Jay Garrick is The Flash in the alternate universe of Earth-Two, and was the first hero to bear that name. During the season-finale, when a wormhole is created by Barry, it spat out an object that had keen-eyed comic-book readers going a bit crazy: Jay Garricks helmet. While that could have just been one major easter egg, the talk of Earth-Two and that fact that Garrick is such a key player there suggests that we will indeed be seeing him in the second season of The Flash. With Wells/Thawne out of the picture, Garrick could serve to fill in for the mentor role for Barry when the show returns.
