6. He Went To College With Chris Wood
They say it's a small world but that might not even be enough to sum up the coincidences that occurred on the set of The CW's Arrowverse shows, especially when you factor in just how much of the cast used to be on Glee. However, one non-Glee coincidence comes in the form Grant's relationship with Supergirl star, and occasional co-star, Chris Wood.
Surprisingly, the pair went to college together, studying at Elon University where they majored in musical theater and ended up becoming very good friends. Little did they know that years later they would end up working in the same shared universe.
Wood portrayed Mon-El on Supergirl's second and third seasons, but he and Gustin did work together on The Flash's musical crossover with Supergirl. Ironically, he would then go on to marry Gustin's Glee/Arrowverse co-star, the Girl of Steel herself, Melissa Benoist.
