The Flash: 10 Things You Didn't Know About Grant Gustin
2. He And Ezra Miller Are Fully Supportive Of Each Other's Roles As The Flash
When Ezra Miller was first cast as The Flash in Warner Bros.' big-screen DC Extended Universe, fans were outraged that the studio had chosen to cast someone other than their current Scarlet Speedster in Grant Gustin. Though Miller is an incredibly gifted performer and proved himself a worthy Flash in Justice League, it was understandable that some felt Gustin deserved the part because of how phenomenal he is on the show.
Both actors, however, are fully supportive of each other's interpretations of Barry Allen, using social situations to praise their counterparts' performances. While Miller admitted that he had never met Gustin, he revealed at 2018's Wizard World in Philadelphia that the pair communicate through fan messages, telling the fans to carry a message back to his fellow Barry Allen. That message was: "Hi, Grant Gustin. I love you."
Gustin, on the other hand, took to Twitter back in 2016 to announce his support for the DCEU's Flash, telling fans that he thinks he's "a fantastic and interesting actor".
It's great to see that The Flash of Two Worlds fully champion each other.
