The Flash: 10 Villains For Season 2

6. Rag Doll

Peter Merkel was a man born with a rare condition: triple-jointedness. As it sounds, it€™s a bit like double-jointedness, only with even more flexibility. He gets work as a contortionist, but when that doesn€™t work out he decides to become a criminal. In fairness there probably isn€™t a wide-range of career opportunities if your skill set is limited to the ability to bend your limbs in ridiculous ways. He steals a carnival rag doll costume, and thus the villain is created. As well as contortion, he€™s also able to hypnotise people and withstand a serious amount of punishment. He probably wouldn€™t translate well enough to be a major recurring threat, but they could certainly have fun with him for an episode or two.

NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far. A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
