The Flash: 8 Craziest (And Most Believable) Reverse-Flash Theories

1. Barry Allen Was There When His Mother Died

This is one theory that the midseason finale of The Flash all but confirmed. Cisco points out that the red and yellow colours that the young Barry Allen saw the night his mother was killed are exactly the same as what everyone else saw when the Scarlet Speedster was battling Reverse-Flash in the present. As a result, this actually explains a lot. If Reverse-Flash was the only one there that night, why would he move Barry from the scene of the crime? He would have surely killed his future enemy then and there. Perhaps The Flash is presented with the choice to save his mother or himself, and knowing that choosing the latter would undo all the good that he's done as a superhero, he's forced to make a truly heartbreaking and difficult decision in the spur of the moment? As you can see, this obviously correct theory actually raises the most questions. Time travel is obviously involved, but when The Flash travels back in time from is hard to guess. Is it in 2024 when you know from Wells' newspaper that he goes missing, or the current version who discovers his ability to access the past later on in this first season? That remains to be seen, as does where both The Flash and Reverse-Flash go once Nora Allen has been murdered. Their battle returning to the present day seems most likely. Which of these theories do you think is true? Is there another explanation of Reverse-Flash? Speed down to the comments and have your say.
