The Flash: Every Main Villain - Ranked

8. Mirror Monarch

Flash TV Show Black Flash
The CW

Eva McCulloch's storyline had the potential to make her one of the series' more memorable villains in recent years. However, this was not the case as her storyline dragged on for too long and she never truly felt like a tangible threat until it was too late in the game.

A duplicate of the real Eva who died during the 2013 particle accelerator explosion, Mirror Eva was trapped in the Mirrorverse until Iris unintentionally made her way into the alternate universe. She befriended the latter under false pretenses and eventually made her way into the real world, leaving Iris behind.

She then began her plan to get revenge on the real Eva's husband, Joseph Carver and eventually replace everyone on the planet with mirror duplicates due to her flawed perception of the real world. To realize this plan, she employed various abilities such as manipulating and traversing through mirrors, creation of mirror duplicates and a genius-level intellect.

Eva's motivations were understandable, but the same could not be said for her plans. Also, as mentioned earlier focusing the story on her robbed the season of any real suspense and momentum. In addition to this, the resolution of her arc felt rushed and lacked any emotional weight and the action behind it was lacklustre.
