The Flash: Every Main Villain - Ranked

One of the more recent additions to DC lore on this list, August Hart's comic incarnation has quickly become of the Flash's most terrifying and overpowered villains. His virtually infinite speed (even as far as speedsters go) and his utter ruthlessness helped him stand out despite the character's more generic template.

The Arrowverse's iteration of the character is significantly more convoluted, and his identity for a long time was something of a mystery. The seventh season's last half cleared up some of the air regarding Godspeed's true purpose and nature, and also introduced a unique spin on redeeming a villain.

Unfortunately, the execution of the character's arc was all over the place and lacked a strong sense of focus, especially given the number of episodes that were focused on Hart. In addition to this, the addition of Godspeed clones in the mythos felt like a clumsy attempt in creating a compelling mystery, and his ties to Bart Allen as the latter's arch-foe was not as gripping as that between Barry and the Reverse Flash.
