The Flash: Every Main Villain - Ranked

4. Bloodwork

Flash TV Show Black Flash
The CW

The villain Bloodwork is not the show's first venture into horror, but has been its most successful experiment with the frightful genre. The primary antagonist of the sixth season's first "Graphic Novel", Ramsey Rosso somewhat succeeded due to his personal connection to Caitlin Snow as well as his effectively disturbing abilities.

Ramsey was defined by his relationship with his late mother and his diagnosis of the same disease that took her life away. His warped view of mortality made him seek unconventional forms of treatment, specifically dark matter from STAR Labs and later exposure to the volatile substance awoke his latent meta-abilities.

Unfortunately, this sealed his descent into madness and gave him the means to end death but at the expense of his humanity and that of others.

Bloodwork is one of the strongest villains the series has seen since its early days, and this is in no small part to Sendhil Ramamurthy's solid performance, the character's overwhelming fear of death and his subsequent drive to overcome it, as well as his tragic yet misguided sensibilties.

David Ng'ethe hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
