The Flash: Ranking Every Major Death Worst To Best

Having a grudge against the Sultan of Speed is one thing. In fact, it's a common trait for his enemies. But getting revenge on Barry by murdering Iris West is another thing entirely. Savitar, a Barry Allen time remnant, planned to stab Iris in the back for the simple reason that future Team Flash was mean to him. Then, if it wasn't enough, the evil remnant takes the life of H.R. Wells, who sacrificed himself to save Iris. So it's only fitting that Savitar would d end up getting shot in the back.

While it is satisfying that Iris was the one to deal the fatal blow, Savitar was just another evil speedster in a show that already had two. The concept of a remnant trying to take revenge on the original Allen could have been incredibly compelling, but what we got was an emo, grovelling villain in a silly suit.

Savitar's final plan was to seed his existence across time, making him a Time God. Those plans were swiftly ended by a shot in the back, leading to the remnant fading away. Yes, evil Barry was not a great villain, but a character who was nearly a God of Time shouldn't be able to be taken out so easily. You'd think if you could outrun time, you could surely outrun a bullet.
