The Flash: Ranking Every Version Of Harrison Wells From Worst To Best

4. Sherloque Wells

Harry's departure in the Season 4 finale left Team Flash feeling a little lost as it meant that they were once again without a variation of Wells - something that didn't bode too well for them when the monstrous Cicada showed up. With that in mind, they scoured the multiverse and consulted the Council of Wells as they searched for someone capable of assisting them. And with that, they found Harrison 'Sherloque' Wells - a master detective from Earth-221 that had captured 37 Cicadas.

Introduced without any of the warmth of his predecessors and showcasing more sass than all of them combined, Sherloque was a bit of a mixed bag in the beginning. It was hard to fully appreciate his brilliance when he was essentially just a Sherlock Holmes caricature but at the same time it impossible not to laugh at some of the quips that he came out with when insulting Team Flash.

Like with most Wells, we quickly grew attached to him throughout the season as fans championed him in his quest to unmask and defeat his 38th Cicada - completely unaware of the fact that he would also defeat his 39th. That, and the fact that he ended up cracking the mystery of Nora West-Allen - not-to-mention his endearing but hilarious rapport with his 'baby giraffe' Ralph Dibny, ensured that Sherloque was responsible for some of Season 5's standout moments. And it goes without saying that introduction of his quest for love made him a much more interesting character.
