The Flash Season 2: 10 Problems Nobody Wants To Admit
7. Zoom Isn't The Reverse Flash
The Reverse Flash was the best thing to happen to The Flash series. No other villain in any DC show, no matter the season, has stood up to just how great the Reverse Flash was. When you've got a villain that great, you really need to step up your game for the next season to keep people interested, and Zoom has done just about the opposite of that so far. By episode nine of the first season of The Flash, we knew who the Reverse Flash was and we knew why he was doing what he was doing as he appeared in multiple episodes throughout the season, setting up his ultimate reveal. With Zoom, all we know is that he wants more speed, and we only just learned that. The only time he's shown up outside of one amazing fight was to tell other people what to do. He can't really pull off the whole monster vibe the show is going for when all he does is bark orders at people. His identity is also still being kept a secret, but most people are guessing that he's either Barry or Henry Allen of Earth-2. While I wouldn't be surprised either way, I'm personally rooting for Earth-2 Patty to be Zoom.
Any time I'm not writing, I'm likely arguing about children's cartoons with strangers on the internet or staring at my ceiling and wondering where it all went wrong.
