The Flash Season 2: 10 Questions We're Asking After Family Of Rogues
4. What's Happening To Professor Stein?
Last week ended with Professor Martin Stein collapsing, and it wasn't clear what had happened to him, but the other half of Firestorm didn't look too hot. He seems to be doing a lot better this week, with his dramatic collapse being down to high blood pressure and in need of some rest. All seems to be going fine, and then once again towards the end of the episode things start to go wrong. He begins turning into Firestorm, engulfed in flames, only they then turn blue, and he eventually collapses again. What was the significance of the blue flames, and what exactly is happening to Professor Stein? Presumably it has something to do with him suffering from Ronnie's death, but just how that's going to manifest itself and have a long-term impact remains uncertain.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
