The Flash Season 2: 12 Big Questions After 'Escape From Earth-2'

"Her name starts with Killer. This comes as a shock to you?!"

Last week's episode of The Flash took us to Earth-2; this week's promised an escape from it. Escape From Earth-2 had a tough job on its hands, as it had to wrap-up the events of last week, and also follow an episode that was one of the very best the show has produced thus far. It succeeded on the former, and while not an episode to stand among the ranks of the series' greatest, it was still a very good one. The action was again split between the two Earths, and again it was the stuff over in the parallel universe that provided most of the excitement and action. Zoom was on the hunt for Harry Wells, Wells and co. were on the hunt for Barry and Jesse, and they were busy cracking the code of the mysterious man in the iron mask. Throw in some killer Killer Frost moments, the big bad Zoom again being a threat, and a pitch-perfect performance from Grant Gustin as Earth-2 Barry ("I'm wearing wingtips...") and it provided some thrilling action, intrigue, and moments of humour. Back on Earth-1, things weren't quite so interesting. Jay again tried the latest Velocity to save Central City from Geomancer, while Iris had some trouble at the paper that went nowhere. At least Earth-1 Joe is still alive, so there's that. The two Earths collided at the end of the episode, and despite closing this particular two-part arc, it opened up a whole new load of questions to be answered.
