7. When Will Barry Tell Patty His Secret?

Barry tells Linda Park his 'big secret' this week, taking off his mask to reveal himself as The Flash in what is supposed to be a touching moment to build the trust between the two characters and motivate her to pretend to be Doctor Light. Only, don't go feeling too special just yet Linda, because you're approximately the 1138th person he's told his secret to in the past 1-and-a-bit seasons. In true Barry fashion, the one person he's withholding the information from is the person he should probably be telling. Last year it was Iris kept out of the loop, to her detriment, and now he's keeping the secret from new flame Patty. Not the best way to start a new relationship. Patty knows about metahumans, is actively working for the police to stop them, and is able to defend herself. Barry keeping this from her isn't really doing anyone any favours, so just tell her, eh? Then they can awkwardly laugh about it and we can all move on with our lives.
