Ah, this old chestnut. The mystery that plagued us throughout Season 1 is back, and that's extremely good news. Tom Cavanagh was confirmed as a series regular for this year, which was confusing due to what happened to his character. How, exactly, could Harrison Wells return? Enter Earth-2. This allows a different version of the character to exist, yet when he's introduced at the end of the episode it's a rather familiar feeling. The man who made all of the pioneering work at Earth-2's STAR Labs possible, Dr Harrison Wells. Is this a 'normal' version of Wells, the man who would have been on Earth-1 if Eobard Thawne hadn't come from the future and stolen his identity? Is it another version of Thawne? Will there be some other hidden motive for the character (because the character of just plain ol' Wells seems to regular for Cavanagh to play after the sterling work he did last year)? Is all this talk of doppelgängers, hidden identities, time-travel, and multiple universes making anyone else's head hurt a little bit?
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
