The Flash Season 2: 13 Big Questions We're Asking After 'The Darkness And The Light'

4. Killer Frost Won't Be A Metahuman?

Speaking of characters who are going to become their comic book alter-ego, could the show have been any more on the nose with its foreshadowing of Killer Frost this week? Trying to calm Cisco down about his abilities, Caitlin tells him: "I don€™t think any of us would become evil if we got powers, even if they came from Dr. Wells." Oh, Caitlin. We know that Caitlin Snow is going to become the villainous Killer Frost at some point (probably this year, given there's already been a promo shot released), so there's a rather obvious sense of irony to this. One point to note, though, is the fact that Harrison Wells' metahuman detecting watch does not beep when it's next to her. In the comics Caitlin becomes Killer Frost when her body merges with ice from a cooling system at a STAR Labs in the Arctic (because comics), but I'd assumed that was an unlikely path for the show to go down, and they'd just make her a metahuman instead. Does this mean Wells' watch isn't working, or there'll be a rather different origin story for Killer Frost?
