The Flash Season 2: 13 Big Questions We're Asking After 'The Darkness And The Light'

3. What Will Jay Garrick Do Now?

There was a lot of excitement for the arrival of Jay Garrick in The Flash, but so far he hasn't been able to do all that much. He's been stripped of his powers, so he can't be the hero he once was. Instead it looked like he'd be a mentor to Barry and a fellow scientist to help around STAR Labs, but the arrival of Harrison Wells has upstaged him on that front. With that in mind, he decides that it's best if he leaves. That's all very well and good, and I understand that he's rather out-of-place and still not over the loss of his powers yet, but where exactly is Jay Garrick going to go? He effectively doesn't exist on Earth One, so it's a bit difficult for him to just go and lead a normal life there. If he returns to Earth Two, he seems to be pretty famous as the Flash, and there's the small matter of Zoom running about all over the place, so it's not exactly a safe option. At this stage, where can he go? What can he do? Just how is he going to get his powers back (because that needs to happen for the character to work in the long run)?
