8. Are We Headed For More Time Travel?
The Flash didn't shy away from time travel in its first season, a move which is very much to be applauded. It's something a show of its ilk might do once it's a bit more established, yet here it was, as a rookie, creating new timelines, altering and deleting others. Could more now be on the way? There were a couple of references to time travel in this episode, enough to go beyond it being a passing reference to previous events, and seem like a tease of things to come. Time travel will be a feature of Legends of Tomorrow (which The Flash and Arrow haven't exactly been subtle about setting up), so it makes some degree of sense that it'd play into The Flash again. A time travelling escapade featuring Barry, Oliver Queen, and some of the Legends, anyone?
