The Flash Season 2: 20 Most Shocking Moments (So Far)

1. Zoom Annihilates The Flash

Wow! Talk about a public show of dominance. We€™d seen a brief clip of Zoom fighting Jay Garrick over in Earth-2, and we€™d heard the horror stories of how this is a villain that is not to be taken lightly, but it was only when we saw the uber-rogue in action against Barry Allen that audiences really saw how much of an impressive villain Zoom is. It€™s no exaggeration to say that Zoom absolutely annihilated Barry. As in, the world hadn€™t seen a beating like that since Brock Lesnar ravaged John Cena at SummerSlam 2014. Zoom would use Linda Park as bait before he€™d then literally catch lightning and throw it at the Scarlet Speedster before beating the absolute life out of him, breaking his back, and then proceed to visit various public places to show off what he€™d done to the fallen Flash. This whole battle was brilliant in its brutality, firmly setting up Zoom as a villain that truly means business whilst giving fans a shocking beating of our beloved hero that few saw coming. Sure, we knew Zoom would have to get the better of Barry initially, but we didn€™t think he€™d do that much damage to the Sultan of Speed. Agree with these most shocking moments?
