The Flash Season 2: 20 Most Shocking Moments (So Far)

2. The Flash Of Two Worlds

With the notion of the Multiverse now in play, as well as that being used as a tool to introduce new villains into the mix, it€™s also been used to introduce a particular new hero: The Flash. Whilst Earth-1 has its own Flash in Barry Allen, The CW€™s Scarlet Speedster-centric show has also brought in Earth-2€™s Flash, Jay Garrick, to help Barry and the S.T.A.R. Labs crew this year. Garrick€™s debut was a surprising one, but one that many fans saw hinted at when his iconic helmet appeared super-briefly in the Season 1 finale of the show. The Crimson Comet would then appear during the final moments of the second season€™s premiere, turning up to warn Barry and Co. about a dangerous threat. That threat, of course, would be Zoom. Seeing two Flashes on the screen together, be they in costume or not, was a massive surprise, and it€™s also a move that could€™ve served as overkill. Luckily the minds behind the show have managed to add a second Flash to the mix without causing any problems to the Barry Allen-led narrative of the series.
