The Flash Season 2: 20 WTF Moments From 'Family Of Rogues'

Family issues for the Snarts and the Wests, and WHO just turned up in Earth-1?!

After being given our first look at both our other Flash and this year€™s €˜big bad€™ with last week€™s Flash of Two Worlds, this latest outing for the Scarlet Speedster was one which saw the always-welcome reappearance of Wentworth Miller€™s cooly-charismatic Captain Cold. Not content with just giving us Cold, the chilly villain also had his sister, the already-introduced Golden Glider, and daddy dearest with him. To explain the relationship with father Lewis Snart as frosty would certainly be an understatement (even if it is an opportunity for the perfect pun). Family of Rogues certainly lived up to its title as well as going a little more €˜deep and meaningful€™ than most were expecting. Dotted throughout the proceedings were many a moment that had viewers mumbling WTF in awe, shock or just baffled bemusement. So with that said, let€™s take a look at 20 examples of such moments.

20. Barry Rescues Iris

Whilst Iris West getting herself in gunshot-type trouble was an immediate attention-grabbing opening to Family of Rogues, Barry€™s rescue of her was even more impressive and treated us to a glimpse of stunning action as the Scarlet Speedster showed off his ever-expanding powers. This time, of course, we saw Barry run up the side of a building to catch the plummeting Iris. Then again, it was also just a tad WTF that Iris jumped from a multi-story building without actually mentioning to Barry what side of the building she was on. Whilst it would€™ve made for comedy gold to see The Flash arrive at the wrong side of the building only to hear the distant splat of Iris-meets-sidewalk, luckily for the young reporter her Knight in Red Armour was on hand to save the day. Oh, and to give her an awesome story to run in the newspaper.
