The Flash Season 2: 20 WTF Moments From 'Family Of Rogues'

19. Money Talks

In a show full of heroes and villains, Detective Joe West has been one of the ones who always does the right thing. As such, it was pretty shocking to see Joe look to pay off his recently-arrived ex-Mrs. Sat in a bar, supping on some liquor, Joe does the old €˜dodgy envelope€™ trick, but his former partner is having none of it. Whilst also showing the desperation Joe West feels towards Iris€™ mother turning back up on the scene, this served to give her a name (Francine) and reveal that she€™s been absent from Iris and Joe€™s life for 20 years. Of course, we€™d get some bigger news on Francine later on in Family of Rogues.
