The Flash Season 2: 8 Ups And 2 Downs From 'The Last Dinosaur'

4. Progress For Barry And Iris

The Flash Season 2 Episode 21 The Good Dinosaur
The CW

To many, Barry and Patty Spivot were literally the perfect couple, but despite that romance we all knew that Barry and Iris were destined to eventually end up together. And now, after nearly two full seasons of will they/won’t they, it looks if they finally will become an item.

With it revealed in the show’s opening episode that Iris and Barry will be married at some point in time – remember that future news article penned by one Iris West-Allen? – it was always on the cards that the two would somehow end up together.

The show had Iris shun Barry’s advances in favour of “Detective Pretty Boy”, Eddie Thawne, whilst Barry would initially struggle to move on before first dating Linda Park and then ending up in a relatively serious relationship with Patty. Of course, through all of this, Barry would still make goo-goo eyes at Iris, and now it appears as if the pair are finally on course to become an item.

All that’s needed now is for a cool-sounding name for the two ala Ollicity, Clana or Clois. Irry? Biris? Nah, let’s just stuck with “Barry and Iris” for now.
