Just as there have been plenty of Killer Frosts, there have also been multiple Firestorms over the years, as many fans of The Flash might have already realized. With Jason Rusch, the new guy on the scene, Killer Frost sought to use him to cure herself of something. Except this time, she didnt want her powers gone, she wanted her cancer eradicated. Despite her history with the original Firestorm, there had yet to be any animosity between these two characters. After an initial assault, Firestorm helped cured her of the disease, but naturally, the story didnt end there. She was just using the naive new hero to help boost her powers and proceeded to rampage even harder than before. Finally thinking of a way to stop her, Firestorm reverses what he did and restores her cancer. Despite the fact that shes a sociopath who needed to be stopped, this is an incredibly dark act for a hero to perform, and one that was only rendered necessary by the actions of an inexperienced superhero up against a formidable villainess.
