The Flash Season 3: 8 Ways Flashpoint Will Change The Show

6. Julian Dorn Will Exist

The Flash Flashpoint Changes
The CW

One of the most exciting additions to The Flash (or any show, really) this off-season is that of Tom Felton to the cast as a series regular. The actor, best known for his work in Rise of the Planet of the Apes - he also had a small part in those little Harry Potter movies, apparently - will be taking on the role of Julian Dorn, who works alongside Barry at the CCPD.

He'll be something of a rival to Barry, and suspects him of hiding a secret - all while keeping a few of his own. What's perhaps most interesting is that Dorn is a new character who exists because of Flashpoint, rather than a character changed by it. At the same time, however, his billing as a regular suggests he'll be sticking around long beyond the resolution to the paradox - so how does that work?

The main theory, and a likely one right now, is that he's Doctor Alchemy: one of the two Big Bads of the year. Funnily enough, that character's powers involve the Philosopher's Stone. Flashpoint brings the Harry Potter universe into the DC one - confirmed!
