The Flash Season 5: 4 Ups & 1 Down From 'All Doll'd Up'

1. A Bit Of A Stretch

As the episode proved to be really strong, this "down" may feel like a bit of a stretch - but given the characters in question, that would be perfectly appropriate.

With a contorting threat like Ragdoll making his presence felt on Central City, this was the perfect opportunity for the writers to place the spotlight on Elongated Man. Ralph has really come into his own this season as one of Team Flash's private investigators, but we haven't seen too much of his stretchy alter-ego. Thankfully, 'All Doll'd Up' changed things, as he did indeed suit up and swung his way to Ragdoll.

Unfortunately, that's all we really got to see as, when the two finally faced-off, the focus was instead placed on Iris' brave attempt to rescue Barry. This was undoubtedly the correct decision from a narrative point-of-view, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they couldn't have spared some time to let us see what a battle between the duelling contortionists would have looked like. They were the perfect adversaries for each other and, due to this, we almost felt a little robbed not seeing their showdown.
