Crazy wormholes threatening the city? The life of a lovable young man at the heart of it? Cisco "putting a gauntlet into Barry's suit" and yet finding the time to design a whole new chinstrap? The Flash freakin' Gordon theme playing as The Flash jumps into the aforementioned wormhole?

The Season 6 premiere was a whole lot of crazy, and yet it thrived because this right here is what The Flash is all about.

In the past, the show has gotten bogged down by its own mythology or its attempts to divert into different territory, but the fact of the matter is that 'Into The Void' was driven by the two things that made the show the success that it is: Fun and family. A winning combination every time.
