The Flash Season 6: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
4. Cecile Horton
Another character that progressed leaps and bounds this season was none other than Central City's former District Attorney. Yes, I did say former District Attorney - the reason being that, upon helping the innocent Allegra Garcia, Cecile realised that there was something of a bias against metahumans and - being a metahuman herself - she decided to throw caution to wind and set up her own meta law firm, allowing her to represent the wrongly-accused metas of the world.
While a lot of that unfortunately did happen off-screen, Cecile wasn't about to let the action slip by her as she regularly found herself involved in the main narrative, helping out newcomers Allegra and Chester and, most refreshingly of all, forming an unexpectedly endearing rapport with the Scarlet Speedster himself, Barry Allen.
The character has often been relied on for comedic purposes in the past in spite of her great emotional depth, and while Season 6 wasn't entirely immune to that, it did a great job of highlighting her strengths at the same time - allowing Danielle Nicolet to shine as she brought the kind-hearted and compassionate 'Mama Cecile' to life.
