The Flash Season 6: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best

5. Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost

The Flash Killer Frost
The CW

Danielle Panabaker wasted little time early into The Flash's run as she quickly showed us that Caitlin Snow would become one of the show's most endearing characters. That certainly hasn't changed over time as the S.T.A.R. Labs genius continued to grow - and, y'know, develop an icy alter-ego at the same time. And it's for that very reason that her journey in Season 6 was a little hit and miss.

The decision to prioritise the Killer Frost persona over Caitlin was undoubtedly a bold choice, but it's one that ultimately proved to be effective as, now calling herself Frost, the ice queen quickly became Team Flash's other most valuable fighter, accompanying Barry on a ton of missions early into the season. And, on the character-driven side of things, she began to grow more as her own person, realising what she liked and who she was when she wasn't being a superhero.

This did come with drawbacks of course - such as the removal of her edgy voice and the fact that the humorous side of her development was a little overplayed too soon - but it did succeed in portraying Frost as more of a character. Unfortunately, it also resulted in Caitlin appearing all too little - which, given how lovable the character is, was a darn shame. Nonetheless, Panabaker balanced the differing roles very, very well.
