The Flash Season 6 Review: 4 Ups & 2 Downs From 'Dead Man Running'

3. Frost's Development

The Flash Season 6 Caitlin Snow Barry
The CW

Though less Caitlin Snow is undoubtedly a detriment to The Flash, that doesn't mean that Danielle Panabaker didn't have some great material to work with - quite the opposite, in fact. For the most part, Killer Frost's new zest for life has been a series of annoying outbursts only to be followed by some rather poignant storytelling - and that's exactly what we got here.

Sure, the conflict with Barry was a little contrived, but once we got all that out of the way, it was really striking to hear her talk about how she wants to taste all the different flavours of Baskin-Robbins ice cream or celebrate her birthday simply because, in that moment, everything suddenly became so clear: She didn't want to lose her life just when she had finally started living.

It's adorable watching Frost grow into a fully-fledged human and, as long as the show doesn't repeat the same cycle every week, there is real opportunity for growth there.
