The Flash Season 6 Review: 4 Ups & 2 Downs From 'Dead Man Running'

2. A New Harrison Wells Joins The Fray

The Flash Season 6 Harrison Wells

What is The Flash without Harrison Wells? You might find yourself struggling to come up with a logical answer to that question, but it's okay because you no longer have to.

Having made it through a solid two episodes without so much as a glimpse of Tom Cavanagh's familiar face, the show finally introduced us the newest iteration of his character and, well, let's just say that he knows how to make an entrance.

The zipline-swinging Indiana Jones-like Harrison "Nash" Wells is on Earth-1 with the sole purpose of tracking down the mysterious artefact known as Eternium. And that right there makes for a welcome change.

Normally, Team Flash would end up recruiting some variation of the character from the multiverse so that he could replicate the original Wells/Reverse-Flash's role as one of the brains of Team Flash and ultimately help them defeat the bad guy. But not this time, and that's intriguing.

Whatever his relationship with Team Flash will be like we don't know yet, but it's sure great to see Cavanagh back where he belongs, and the idea of getting to know a new Harrison Wells, well, that's very exciting indeed.
