The Flash Season 6 Review: 5 Ups & 3 Downs From 'A Flash Of The Lightning'

2. Killer Frost Acting Out-Of-Character

Carrying on from last week, the episode also gave us an insight into how Killer Frost was getting on with complete use of Caitlin Snow's body. Unfortunately, the results weren't quite as promising, as the narrative saw Killer Frost insult people at Kamilla's art gallery to force unresolved conflict between her and Cisco.

She would then later spend her time making silly comments (that she never would have made before) and tuning out the rest of the world.

It turns out that there really was a poignant message at the end of all this - as Killer Frost just wanted to find her way of expressing herself - and that was almost enough to allow this storyline to escape the 'downs' section, but due to the in-your-face style of humour that we never associated with Frost in the first place, and the lack of screen-time to really explore that poignant side, this stuck out in an episode that had real stakes everywhere else.
