The Flash Season 6 Review: 7 Ups & 1 Down From 'Liberation'

5. Creative Writing

The Flash Killer Frost
The CW

Another one of the episode's unexpected moments came when Cisco and Ralph entered Caitlin's apartment expecting to find Killer Frost resting as her wound (from her battle with Sunshine a few episodes ago) healed, only to find Caitlin in an ice coma.

The arc was brief and only progressed over two scenes, but long story short, Frost apparently put Caitlin in an ice coma to heal them both - meaning that Danielle Panabaker didn't have to leave the sofa.

With Frost's injury, both her and Caitlin's absence last week and now this, you have to hand it to the writers; they're doing a very creative job of writing around Danielle's pregnancy and, in doing so, using those creative methods to build towards some rather exciting developments for her character - especially because it seems like Caitlin's mother is set to return in the coming weeks. And the veteran Flash star brought it all to life with a very strong performance.
