The Flash Season 6 Review: 7 Ups & 1 Down From 'Liberation'

4. Bringing It All Together

Would you believe me if I said there were more unexpected moments in the episode? I sure hope so because, in a moment that certainly caught this writer off-guard, Ramsey Rosso (a.k.a. Bloodwork) returned when Eva's mirror children visited him in the hopes of obtaining some of his blood - which he gave to them willingly after hearing their proposition.

It was undoubtedly great to see Sendhil Ramamurthy reprise his role and, given that he was the Big Bad for the first half of the season, his return is actually an effective way of bringing the sixth season's story full-circle.

We knew heading into this season that it would adopt a two-narrative approach, with showrunner Eric Wallace referring to each half as a separate graphic novel of sorts. Bloodwork is clearly the key to joining those two narratives, and that came as a pleasant surprise.
